....Erykah Badu is coming out with a new album in February 2010, entitled A New Amerykah Pt.2 Return of the Ankh. I found out about this during my daily visit to Blind I for the Kids. And the ppl at Blind I were kind enough to post a video of Badu talking about her upcoming release. The way the ppl are sitting indian style just looking up at her in AWE and AMAZEMENT is mind blowing. If while creating this new album, she felt the same way she did when writing Baduizm.....then I know this is going to be a musical FORCE like non other.

Respect The Hustle

When you hear "Carson Daly" you probably immediately think of TRL. I know I DO! But life after Total Request Live has probably been pretty KICK ASS, from what I can tell through my TV screen. Carson has had his own show, Last Call with Carson Daly, since 2002. And from the looks of things I believe Carson has to have one of the illest jobs in the entertainment industry. Daly gets to interview new up and coming artists, actors, comedians, as well as sports entertainers. Basically anything that is NEW and POPPIN'.....Carson will know about it and most likely address it on his show. Last Call airs around 1:36 am (eastern) and me being the night owl that I am, I've caught several episodes. On one of the more recent episodes, live performances by the XX were shown and Daly mentioned another band called White Denim. The crazy thing about THAT little tidbit is that only days before, I had discovered the XX and White Denim by reading a blog post titled gorilla vs. bear's albums of 2009 (on Gorilla vs. Bear). Like I said....NEW & PoPPiN'! I would advise anyone who wants to stay up to date with new music from alllllll types of genre's, to tune into this late night GEM! To sum all this up.....basically Daly has gone from the Corny TRL host to the kinda indie Cool'ish ,"in the KNOW" Late Night host. Not sure how he did it....but you gotta respect his HU$TLE! (He's still kinda corny though!)

Play My S#%T

Lately with the release of Wale's Attention Deficit album and more recently the Clipse's album Til The Casket Drops (FIRE!), I have noticed that Target hasn't been bumpin' my music, that's how I'll put it. I used to be able to look at a Target weekly ad and if I knew a CD I wanted was coming out on Tuesday, I was going to find it in that ad. NOT THESE DAYS! The week Wale's CD came out, not only was it not in the Weekly Ad, but I had to scour the Target website to see if they even knew what I was talking about. It took me five thousand, 800 & 6ixtyTwo YEARS to find Attention Deficit on that damn website. Last week Til The Casket Drops was released and it TOO was not in Targets Weekly AD....when I went to the store they claimed they were "OUT" but I bet those bastards weren't even carrying the shit. I'm very disappointed in Target....I may just be looking to deeply into the situation or I could be right on the money with this. I have noticed that the "Ethnic" hair section has gotten a lot larger in matching demographics though.....I guess its an even trade off?! :( Assholes

Another Gucci Mane video POST!

Everybody loves this song, no bullshit! I haven't been white boy wasted in a WHILE but this song still gets me DUMB HYPE! This is the GUCCI MANE "Wasted" video below and I love it for soooooooooo many reasons. This video reminds me of my senior year in High School as well as my 1st and 2nd year of college. Whether it was partying with my MANY white friends in high school or going to some random white frat party at Mason, they really did look like this. I've been to a party where they were playing beer pong in the pool on a floating table.....I JUST SAID FLOATING TABLE! So this video makes me all around happy and reminds me of the gooood ol' days! I would have paid a good ten dollars if this video were a real party! I WOULD'VE BEEN IN THERE LIKE SWIMWEARRRRRRR!

So I LOVE the 5 Star Chick remix video for this 1 main reason: Gucci Mane La Flare has some PRETTY WHITE TEETH. Most of the time when you see Gucci he has these HORRIBLE gold fronts in, BUT in this video they are OUT and his teeth are B-E-A-Utiful! Boooiiiiii, you would never know such nice teeth were hiding behind such not nice fronts! Ewwwiiiiieeeee.

So Paramore (bomb ass band.....get familiar) is coming out with their 3rd studio album. And I have a feeling this bad boy is going to be the TITS! Their lead single "Ignorance" slaps you right in the face with a nice I DON'T GIVE A F$#K. Talk about a break up song, yeah its over when this joint is played. Brand New Eyes will be released September 29th, and I suggest if you're reading this that you go COP it, mmhhmmmm.  [Look for an album review in the near future my little gangbangers]

William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet

Everyone knows William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, sometimes referred to as the Tale of Two Star Crossed Lovers. Well lately they have been playing Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of the classic tale on HBO, and it got me to thinkin.......this thing is the TRUUUUTH! Baz Luhrmann's vision of a modern Romeo + Juliet was soooo skillfully crafted in that film. The way he portrayed "Swords" mentioned in the original tale, as GUNS in his version was brilliant. The updated/current fashion sense, cars, architecture, all of it modernized that movie in such a distinct way. The song selection (now you know Baz loves his MUSIC....MOULIN ROUGE anyone???) he used to get across the message of certain scenes, was memorable. The moment Romeo (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and Juliet (played by my fave...Claire Danes) see each other for the first time.....and Des'ree is on stage at the party performing Kissing You, Ughhhh....CLASSIC. You could just see the look of love in their eyes. Now I know its just a movie but it almost makes you believe in love at first sight. For my generation I just can't see Shakespeare being too captivating, who wants to decipher what he is trying to say....really?! This modern portrayal of such a classic was a great way to breakdown the work of Art Shakespeare created. I don't know if love like this exists.....a love so great that without it you'd rather die?!?! Is that even a love one would want?! I don't know......but if I ever find out....I'll write about it, I promise ;)

Gentlemen, the next one of you I hear going on & on about how women ain't shit (I'm using the word "women," some of u fine young men aren't that kind in choosing your words) and how chicks are grimey and blah blah blah, I'M GONNA FUCKING SNAP! Couples Counseling: Me & Trey Songz

So Trey and I have been together since his first album.....I mean I spent money on him and everything but lately he's been letting me down. I mean I don't think he's doing the music for me any more....but, for all these *LUSTY* Broads out in these streets. I DON'T FEEL SPECIAL TREYYYYY! But on a serious note....here is how I feel about Trey Songz. My opinion is that the dude has a lot of talent....like A LOT! But when he came out he was so hungry, you could sense that urge to make it, that "I'm bigger than Petersburg" mentality. And with that fire this young man made a solid debut.....I Gotta Make It was a GOOOOD album. Nothing was too outlandish, all of the subject matter was that you would expect from a 20yr old young man. Making it in the world, dancing with shortie in the club, thinking about cheating, letting the girl get away, a fat ASS....blah blah blah! And I guess his subject matters have remained the same for the most part, but boy have the degrees of said subject matters gone to the EXTREMEEEEE. I mean now the songs are like scratching up my back, the neighbors know my name, you'll think I invented sex and the list goes on. Its just kind of disappointing because I saw him being like an Al Green of my generation, fun RnB music with a sexier side. But its gone boreder line raunchy.....but the ppl LOVE IT! Does this say something about our generation as a whole? I mean I know sex sells but my oh MY, does it have to be that much sex?! I know this means very little because all the females are gonna still scream "TREYYY TREYYYY" and all the dudes are gonna put the Ready album on when they wanna get it POP-INNNNN. I just saw something more in the GUY, and counseling isn't gonna do much....I think Trey and I will just have to go our separate ways :( smh.

Outasight

Richard Andrew. A normal enough name, I'd say. Outasight. Not your average moniker, but still they are One and the SAME. Outasight is an artist born and raised in New York. I want to describe him as a rapper[SLASH]singer, but that wouldn't do HIM justice. I think I'll call him a Soulful Spitta....yeah that's appropriate! Whether he is spitting a well written 16 or singing some type of ballad-Esque song, Outasight does it with soooooooooooo much SOUL. In interviews he has cited Stevie Wonder as one of his influences (how he came up with the name? that might have something to do with it, who KNOWS) and it definitely shows. His music is evidence in itself that he has been influenced by the sounds of Hip Hop and Soul. The first song I heard from Outasight was "Good Evening," a very catchy...fast paced tune, that immediately had me singing along...."Good Mornin' Good Evenin' I hope ya like DREAMIN." Once you get my shoulders moving and my head nodding.....you've won me over, and he did JUST THAT [plus he's easy on the EYES...Owww]! Since discovering the charismatic tunes of Outasight, I have copped his Radio New York LP and his From There To Here Mixtape. I would suggest that you cop them as well! He recently released a new single titled "Brand New Day" [its a selection in my iTouch music player, peep the sidebar]. He has also been recently featured on a Mick Boogie remix project called Re-Living Thing [check that out at ThePressPlayShow.com]

I don't remember how I came across the musical greatness that is Francis and the Lights, but what I do know is that I'm very glad I DID! Francis and the Lights is a New York based band fronted by Francis Farewell Starlite [I've heard that the Lights are his band but also a reference to the lights behind them when the group performs]. If you like good quality music then you can appreciate this group. The instrumentation in their music is fresh and beautiful, allowing the sound of every song to help envision the very thoughts of Francis Starlite. The FUNK released by the guitar in their song Striking is magical.....I can't help but groove whenever I hear it. I've heard that their live performances are an experience in themselves. Soon, I hope I will be able to verify whether this is true or not [I'm sure its MORE than true]. The Climb

Music inspires.....because essentially, Music IS inspired. An artist does, sees or goes through something and then they put their experiences in the music. All ppl go through so many similar situations in life that eventually you are going to come across a song that SPEAKS directly to you. The song I will use as a prime example is The Climb by Miley Cyrus. Now I'm not saying this song speaks to me [yes I am! smh], but its soooooooooo inspirational. This song is just so good. I would advise that if anyone is going through a rough time that they listen to this song and get out of their slump. Some People Are Just Meant To Be Together

If I could create a musical duo who's sole purpose was to change the game and basically TAKE OVER THE WORLD, these two dudes would not have been anywhere in my realm of THOUGHT! Who would have ever thought that the DJ who created the infamous Grey Album and the nigga that left Goodie Mob would be a musical phenomenon. I don't think there is anything else out like Gnarls Barkley, and their depth goes deeper than you could imagine...

There's a THIN line!

So recently a friend of mine got into a little quarrel with his girl....because she found some things in his cell phone that I GUESS made her UNhappy. So time goes by and then randomly ol' girl shows up at his spot and when he opens the door she cracks a picture frame with a photo of them *UPSIDE* his head! Yesssss.....I stated UPSIIIIIIDE his HEAD. Now I am anti-Domestic Violence.....I REALLY AM, but sometimes I feel like if a woman has enough balls to hit a man then she has enough balls to potentially get knocked the fuck OUT. Now I believe there are guidelines to different situations. If a chic hits a dude, then he probably shouldn't hit her back because a hit from him would be waaaaaaaay more painful (maybe), a shove or a mush should suffice in that situation. Now if a bitch comes strapped with weapons....like a PICTURE FRAME (which could be composed of wood, metal, glass etc.), then you might have grounds to lay hands on her. I know that some of you reading this may not agree....but if a chick is about to potentially draw blood, then I think ol' boy can draw a measily bruise. So to sum everything up....I don't support domestic violence, men shouldn't hit women and women shouldn't men. No one should ever result to physical BLOWS. So ladies if you keep hittin' your man like Yvette did Jodie in Baby Boy, then he may very well hit you back like JODIE did...in BABY BOY. And fellas if you keep hittin' your woman like ol' boy hit J.Lo in Enough, then she may very well KILL you like J.LO did...in ENOUGH. Why can't we all just get ALONG

Take a CRACK @ it

So I have been playing around with photoshop a lot lately and I've been making flyers for some Happy Hours and Parties for friends. And I must say I have been getting prrrreeeetttyyyy good. I feel like if you just play around with it for a while then different this will just happen and if you like them then keep them and remember how to do it for future reference. The good thing about photoshop is when you do something that you don't like you can just delet it....you won't have to start all over or anything like that, ITS GREAT! Another thing I do to try and beef up my skills with Da Shop is watch tutorials. Planetphotoshop.com has some BOMB ass tutorials. The one's I've watched so far have been narrated by Corey Barker (he may do all of them?) and he explains things very well. People who are motivated about shit....especially when its something good! How can you bad mouth someone hype about some ILL shit. My dude Keevon coaches basketball for little kids and apparently loves it and is dedicated to it. Can you really hate on that? It's easy to not do shit with yourself, as I've stated before, but not everybody can be motivated enough to do something with themselves. I hate it when people say dumb shit like "You're the whitest black person" or "You're soooo white." I ESPECIALLY hate those comments when they come from NON-Black People! How the fuck is a white person gonna tell me how I'm supposed to act as a BLACK person? There is no possible way they could know unless they knew every black person in the WORLD, therefore knew exactly how all black people acted and could then tell me I was going against the norm. All you outsiders are bamFUCKINGboozled by the media into believing there is a certain way that black people should act. I'm supposed to use broken english, shitty manners, basically anything I do right is in essence wrong because it is not the character of the black race. What kind of ILL shit is that? The way I portray myself is the way I'm supposed to be....and since being black is a part of who I am....then how I act is how a Black person named COPE is supposed to act. What's funny is if I reacted the way they would "EXPECT" me to as a stereotypical black person, trust me they would NOT be happy with the outcome. So....moral of this is I act the way I am.....I....ME...not everybody else....but this is who BLACK me is and best believe its RIGHT, so the next person to come out they mouth sideways with some silly ass comment like the one's discussed is getting a GOOD OLE FASHIONED Cope response. You're Wearing the Wrong UNIFORM

I've touched on this subject before but I never really went into detail, so here it goes!


You can't really judge a person by their appearance these days because people are not wearing their appropriate uniforms. There used to be a time when bad girls dressed like bad girls. Now its gotten so bad that good girls dress like whore's.....why? I don't know.....that's a uniform I wouldn't want voluntarily. I'm tired of seeing broads dressed like Jackie O when they act like Marilyn Monroe....those are two COMPLETELY different types of female. A nice pair of pearls or a pretty little necklace does not MASK the fact that you're kind of a SLORE! But this does not apply to females only.....there are PLENTY of fellas running around rockin their "GEEK" swag, tryin to be Jay-Z or pulling off the "Rock!" look Weezy style. But no matter how many stee-lo's they jack most of these dudes are still grimey ass niggas that really ain't bout shit. I really need for people to stop putting on different uniforms if they can't fulfill the Job Requirements. You don't see me waking up...going to my closet...pulling out a cop uniform and being like "U know what....I think I wanna enforce the LAW today!" If you put on your "Sophisticated Lady" uniform then your actions should MATCH. People can change their style up, but I feel that when you do personalities should change as well....because you normally look the way you feel, right?!

A voice that when you hear them say anything it feels like someone just gently ran their fingers across the back of your neck? STOOOOOOOOP! My sister says Marsha Ambrosius voice sounds like sex (the singer from Floetry). And I would have to agree with her on that....b/c almost every song on the Floetic album gave off THAT vibe. I actually have one particular friend who's voice sounds like Crown Royal On ICE to the highest extreme. This man could be talkin about GREEN EGGS AND HAM I tell you.....and I wouldn't even notice it because as SOON as his lips part my mind starts creating the type of visuals that show up with censor bars already IN THEM! The kind of voice that makes you want to be the WORDS that come out his mouth, so you can actually feel what the sounds feels like rolling off his tongue. He has the kind of voice that when you haven't heard it in a while and then you suddenly do everything around you stops. Or the kind of voice that when you miss a call from him you ALWAYS want him to leave a message, so you can listen to it then save it so you can hear that Crown over and over. The kind of voice that when you get a text message from him you imagine him actually saying the words, making the text THAT much better! I've made a lot of comparisons so you can read this and try to understand just what I'm saying....but I'm just gonna end with ONE LAST example: A Crown Royal On Ice voice, HIS voice, when you hear it its like every word coming out of his mouth represents a kiss he lays on every inch of your body, from the top to the bottom. I'm done....no really I can't keep this up! I know I'm not the only one who knows a Crown Royal On Ice or two....LADIES.....act like you KNOW!

A Go LIVER (pronounced LIE-Verrrr)

So while I was writing "U'd still smash tho," I was listening to Get it Girl by Chip Tha Ripper and he used the term "Go Liver." I had never heard the term before but I was pretty sure I had a good idea of what it meant, but just in case...I did an urban dictionary search. It's basically someone who is ready and willing to engage in sexual activities whenever, wherever, however. Immediately I was like "That's not cute!" but then I thought about it a little longer....lol! That may not necessarily be a BAD thing. If you think about it there is probably at least one person that could turn you into a Go Liver whenever they're around. I feel like if you're not a Go Liver with EVERYONE then that's fine, and maybe there is just one person that brings that side of you out, so I say HEY.....go for gold...in fact if you're reading this...STOP RIGHT NOW....hit up your Go Liver immediately and tell them you're ON YOUR WAY!!!!!! Hahahaha TERRIBLE :P

Dudes run their mouths just as much as some females do, which is a mind blower to me. I hear guys talkin about the different chicks they're talking to or beatin down, and you should hear some of the things they SAY! Whore is reemerging as a very popular term for the loose jawns out here in the streets....I'm hearing it being used more frequently these days. But back to what I was saying....I hear dudes calling these chicks whores and all this other stuff and they talk about all the ILL shit these chicks do and SAY, but I'm like..."U'd still SMASH THO!" I don't wanna associate myself with some skeezy ass nigga, sometimes ignorance truly is bliss and if I don't know ol' boy is scummy then it could be a good thing (or NOT). But if I know he's one step away from being a PROSTITUTE why would I still wanna mess with him? Ewwww.....nooooo sirrrrrrrr. Can't Keep Me Anymore

Have you ever witnessed a bad relationship and wondered why the people don't just get out?!?! You're probably thinking to yourself..."no one is happy any more, the good times seem so far away and its better to just let go." But can you imagine how hard it must be to let go? You know the relationship isn't the way it once was, but you just keep believing that it will get back to the what it used to be or even better. As soon as you've made up in your mind that you're finally gonna let them go, you just keep replaying all the good memories, all of the I Love You's, the future that should have been, and for a second all of the pain goes away. Then once you get in that mind state you try to figure out what went wrong and if you can fix it because you don't want to risk missing out on the reemergence of the "Old You" (in reference to the other person). Then you're right back where you started.....still holding on. Is it wrong to love someone so much that no matter what you always want to hold on?

When tracks first started leaking from Kanye's highly anticipated album 808's and Heartbreaks, a lot of the critics were being quite skeptical and RUDE. They were saying he was "Experimenting," and other things like that. But me being the R.O.D. supporter of Kanye that I am, I never doubted the man! From the moment he first performed Love Lockdown....with his grey suit on and that lit up broken heart....I knew Ye was about to give me something I didn't even know I needed. 808's is good from beginning to end, bottom LINE. Ye starts with Say You Will, which is clearly about his ex-fiance and it's damn near everybody's favorite track on the album. Then he goes into Welcome To Heartbreak featuring my future husband KiD CuDi.....this song is about how Ye has been grindin thus far to get all that he has, yet he doesn't have the simple things in life, like a family or just time to be with his loved ones....I mean DAMN....your God sister got married by the lake and you couldn't even stay for the CAKE? That's tough Ye....cake is CLEARLY the best part! Moving on.....next up is Heartless, where he's talking about a cold hearted broad....THE END. I love Heartless as well....but let me tell you why.....that BEAT DROP in the beginning right after he does the chorus.....ILLY.....I immediately rock the shoulders like "You need to WATCH the way you're talking to me YO!" But it's not all about heartbreak on this album.....just when you think you're gonna have to cut yourself, Amazing begins to play...."my REIGN is as far as your eyes can see!" Jeezy blesses this track and does a pretty good job......very much expected from Mr.Jeezy Hamilton. Love Lockdown has enough bass to blow someone's speakers out....turn this one down a little when it comes on, let's not have an incident! Paranoid is just catchy as HELLLLL...."Why are you so paranoid...you worry bout the wrong things, the wrong THINGS!" LOL! But Real TALK No SHIT.....people don't be so paranoid that will drive Mr or the Mrs away. I'm not gonna lie...when I first heard Robocop I was NOT a fan...this is the one song that had to grow on me and it did "OK...Ok ok." Funny story about Street Lights....this was featured on an episode of Grey's Anatomy...a show I watch faithfully and get a lot of good music from. I'm not sure what I was doing....b/c I was paying attention during the entire episode, but I somehow did not hear them play Street Lights...and not a snippet...but the ENTIRE SONG! Needless to say I was pissed when everyone told me I missed it, but WHATEVER! Every time I hear Bad News I wanna go out and SALSA....is that weird? I don't think so....long story short, I like this track TOO...."Oh you just gon' keep another LOVE 4 YOU (that was for you JUSE)". In comes the Vocoder Abusers Anthem...See You In My Knightmares featuring Weezy Wee. EVERYBODY Loves this song......I mean it bangs, but I think people just fall into the Gillie Hype....OH...I mean Lil' Wayne Hype. Coldest Winter is apparently about his late mother Dr.Donda West.....it's sad just like the situation but the song is of course GOOD. Pinocchio Story is the last track on the cd and it's a live version. What bothers me about this song is the screaming fans in the background.....I mean this man is pouring his heart out, crying and shit....I'm pretty sure now is the one time where you should stop being a fan and just be a supporter by giving him your undying attention. If I had to rate this album on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this bad boy 9.5 hearts(and not 10 b/c one of them had to be broken...for heartbreaks...get it? lol) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. People can say what they want about Kanye and 808's.....the man lost his mother and his fiance around the same time, if that nigga wanted to rap about crayons I would listen. A lyric in the Coldest Winter says "Goodbye my friend, will I ever love again?" I mean I doubt Kanye will ever read this, but YES Ye.....you will Love again.

Have you ever thought about the five senses...sight, touch, smell, hear, taste? They're such simple things but could you imagine what life would be like without one of these senses?

I'm going to start with TOUCH

Imagine if you didn't have the sense of touch. That means you can't feel the warmth of the sun on a warm day or the sensation of water hitting your skin in a hot shower. You wouldn't be able to feel a good firm handshake (I hate limp ass handshakes....man the fuck up! lol). No point in petting fluffy puppies because you can't feel anything. No running your fingers through anybody's hair (ladies if you are running your fingers through a dudes hair, that nigga better have locks or be John Stamos....b/c nigga's with long hair in this day and age are not POPPIN!). Now let's dig a little deeper: You know that feeling you get when you wake up next to *that person* and your arm is around them or their arm is around you....could you imagine not having that sensation? TERRIBLE.....just plain not good is what not having that feeling would be like. Next time you touch something and you get a good feeling, think about not having it and appreciate it all SO much more.

I feel like if you are a rapper and you have a ghostwriter then you need to change professions! I don't think I could even ghostwrite for someone.....like I'm listening to the radio and I see nigga's feeling my shit and they don't even know its my shit? I understand that some people don't want the shine....but I'll be damned if someone who didn't work for it gets it. So apparently Jadakiss is a ghostwriter, as well as Jay-Z, T.I. and Gillie Da Kidd is a writer for Lil' Wayne. Do you see all this recent shine this nigga Wayne is gettin? No wonder Gillie pops shit about this nigga on his mixtapes...HE IS HIM....HIM IS HE...WTF? Nas, Skillz, Pharoahe Monch, and the D.O.C are all ghostwriters....for people like Will Smith, Dr.Dre, Diddy, Foxy Brown and even BIG were mentioned. BIG is some people's favorite rapper and you mean to tell me he didn't even write some of his shit? Just goes to show why Tupac was always better in my opinion! The ghostwriters say they don't feel "undervalued," but I mean WHATEVER.....if they're fine with collecting whatever money they get paid for their services but no credit then I'll leave it alone. But I'll never look at some of these so called "Rappers" who use ghostwriters the same way EVER again. Ohhhhhh the Fakerrryyyyyy!

How did we get here?

"How did we get here?"

I realized that I was asking myself that question a lot towards the end of 2008 in reference to former friends or associates. In 2009 I'm going to turn over a new leaf in regards to how I handle friendships. Normally if someone does something wrong I think to myself "does this person have characteristics that would make me want to keep them in my life in spite of whatever situation has just occurred....or can they be let go?" I don't know any murderers (as far as I know....I wouldn't put it past some of these nigga's though!)....so I think I'm gonna start giving people more chances. I know that if I messed up I would want another chance to right my wrongs. One of my best friends gave me a second chance and if he hadn't I don't know what my life would be like now, SERIOUSLY! I know what its like to have a friend taken from you, so I don't think I'll be letting any more go unless its really not up to me. We meet people for a reason and I think we should take the time to figure out exactly what that reason is.

"Be polite!"

Any good parent raises their child to be polite, so when we're young we're told to say Thank You in appropriate situations. You get a gift from your Grandma...."Tell your Grandmother thank you!" Things like that....it just seems commonplace. But does the phrase "Thank You" hold the weight that it really should? I feel like people just say it now because its automatic like you don't really even think about it anymore. I know I do....like if someone holds the door for me, tells me "God Bless You," or other normal things like that. But when someone does something really great for you are you truly thankful or is it just another automatic response? If you say it five times, "thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou," it doesn't mean more if you had said it ONCE! It only means something if you really mean it, like you thought about the act that was just done for/to you or the thing that was just given/taken from you and it completely changed your state. You are happier than you were before, your worries have gone down, things like that, or is it just another event in your day? The next time someone does something good for you.....I would suggest that you say Thank You and mean it, because its hard to hide it when you DON'T!
