What do these four artists/groups have in common? No, it's not the fact that you may have read the names and been like "who in the hell?" It's the fact that they are all unsigned to major record labels. Its music like this that drives me to want to be an A&R rep......if I can find out about fire like this why can't the people in the BIZ find them? Anyways for your listening pleasure:

Wale "Nike Boots"
The Nigerian Messiah of "Rap for the Capital." This DC native is making big moves these days with appearances on last years MTV VMA's, and maybe the Grammy's this year. Keep an eye out because he's moving fast like lightening!

The Cool Kids "Pump up the Volume"
Chi-Town rap duo.....ill beats, catchy verses, what more can you ask for? The Cool Kids are very reminiscent of good ol' school hip hop. Pick up what I'm laying down cool breeze!

Steed Lord "Dirty Mutha"
I F's wit Steed Lord...not only do they have ill music but ill clothing as well! This is a Four piece from Iceland....and their tracks are the complete opposite of Ice.....FIRE! If you like house music then you will enjoy this tasty morsel!

Kid Sister "Pro-Nails"
Another Chi-Town Gem! Kid Sister is the boo-love of Kanye's DJ A-Trak. She has more of an ol' school feel to her. She's not raunchy like Lil'Skim or Trina (I still roc with the raunchy broads though)....she has her own vibe. You can either get with it or get lost!
