Every dayyyyyy the 14th!

Happy Valentine's Day to ALLLLLLLLLLLL! As you know this is one of my favorite holidays and no matter how long it's been since I've blogged, I plan to ALWAYS put out a VDay mix. The titles of this two part mix are Old Love and New Love. As I'm sure you can guess one mix is filled with some Oldies but Goodies, and then the other is packed with more current tunes. There are 14 tracks on each mix (in honor of the 14th day) but I'm not providing a track list, for it will be a mystery until you have downloaded and are ready to get in the zone. Hopefully you enjoy and just remember to love love LOVE!

ROK

If you're familiar with me, COPE, then you're probably aware that I LOVE MUSIC....ALL TYPES OF MUSIC. So I decided to make a sweet mix of some of my favorite Rock songs. I love Rock music, more than this one mix could ever convey, but still this is a PRETTY SCHWEEEEET compilation. I hope you enjoy and remember to Open your EARS as well as your MINDS!

Frank Ocean

For this to be Frank Ocean's 1st mixtape, he did MORE than an amazing job. I would advise anyone taking the time to read this post, to also take the time to download his mixtape nostalgia, ULTRA. <>

I would also suggest googling Frank Ocean so you can read all of the dope write-ups about this young man.

When I say this album is Great.....I mean it's GREAT! If you haven't listened to or purchased this album I suggest you do so as soon as possible

All Of The LIGHTS

I personally am not a big fan of this new "All Of The Lights" Remix. (Weezy was POINTLESS)

So...

I decided to create my own remix line-up of artists that I think would have fit PERFECTLY on this track:

1.Lupe

2.Cudi (whole verse)

3.Eminem

4.Andre 3Stacks (Just to set that !sh OFF)

Let that marinate for a while...

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to you ALLLLLLL! This year for my VDAY playlist I decided to do a mix for Love Found as well as Love Lost. Regardless of your current status on this day, remember that somebody loves you and you should be lovin' somebody BACK!

F.U.C. Tape Vol.1 & 2

The homie, DJ Fly Guy AKA Rahsaan has released not ONE, but TWO dope mixes recently. The series is known as the F.U.C. (Fun Under Covers) Tapes and they are filled with mood setting music for your after hour endeavors. Dowload volumes 1 & 2 <--by clicking the numbers!

Fafi Sighting

I don't have like a list of "My Favorite Artists" but if I did, Fafi would be on it. Her artwork stands out & on my daily trip to YOUHEARDTHATNEW.COM, there was a Fafi sighting. The video for "Do! Do! Do!" by Carte Blanch ft. Kid Sister was featured on the site and the cartoon used looked awfully familiar to me. So I did some GOOGLING and found that Fafi was definitely involved in the visuals. Check the video below & Google Fafi!
